Peter Dennis made this 2013 cab.sauv from 100% estate grown grapes from the family’s own ‘Nindethana’ vineyards.

After fermentation in open fermenting tanks and run off at 3.5 deg.Beaume, the skins were pressed in a basket  press., the pressings and free run were given 15 months oak maturation prior to bottling .

This wine exhibits intense lifted Cabernet berry fruit on the nose, with spicy, sweet yet soft undertones of oak. The palate is long, complex, mouth filling and supple, with a cleansing, crisp acid, which holds onto the finish.

It will go very well with  red meats and full flavoured cheese.

The  screw top closure has been used as a measure of quality enhancement and not economy.

It will ensure the freshness and zest of this wine until you are ready to open it.

I recommend this wine for immediate drinking with someone you like.
